Being A True Friend. ♪ 4:14 PM
hahahaha, got an interesting & funny story about a husband & wife to share with you guys. :)
The husband always thought that his wife was deaf, because she wouldn't have any response to whatever he said. so the husband decided to go to the ear specialist to seek help from the doctor.
HUSBAND: Doctor, I think my wife is deaf. She doesn't respond to me when I talk to her. Is there any way to test it out?
DOCTOR: Try talking to her about 5metres away, everytime she doesn't respond, you move closer by one metre.
HUSBAND: ohhhhh, that's a good idea. okay, I'll go home & try it out.
so when he got home, he saw that his wife was preparing dinner.
(5 metres away) HUSBAND: Honey! What are we having for dinner tonight? There wasn't any response.
(4 metres away) HUSBAND: HONEY! What are we gonna have for dinner tonight? Hmmmm, no response as well.
(3 metres away) HUSBAND: HONEYYYYY! WHAT ARE WE HAVING FOR DINNER TONIGHT?!
WIFE:FOR THE THIRD TIME, WE'RE HAVING CHICKEN RICE FOR DINNER TONIGHT!

I was laughing when I heard what the wife replied. hahahha, apparently, angela doesn't understand what's the joke. LOL.

hahahaha, seriously, sometimes I wonder if I've been a true friend to my friends. am I there for them when they need someone to talk to? am I there to help them when they need help?
have I been a good friend to them? I know, sometimes I'm not. & I even do neglect some of them. and really I'm sorry for that.
Friends are an important part of your life. well, I don't know about you, but at least, they're important to me lah. :)

the other group went over to vivo. was kindda lazy to go all the way to vivo, so i didn't go with them. hahaha. besides, I wanted to be home early to do PCT.yes, I'm gonna be an angel & DO PCT. :)
and ohmygoodness lah. is anyone telling everyone about the cards i do or what? how come even suryanto knows about the cards i do!? LOL, cos I don't even know him before CAMP-X and today! -_-

AIMM: 25.5/40 FPATH: 30.5/40 passed the above, but only A LITTLE satisfied with Fpath, cos it's possible to do much better than this. yeaaaaa, I'm not happy with it luhhhh.
& I have one more CSAS! and damn that CSAS paper cos I failed it. HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU FAIL CSAS?! YOU ARE SERIOUSLY SCREWED. CSAS ALSO CAN FAIL. please take a hammer & hammer yourself.
yup, don't know the score for that though. cos the paper is still with the teacher. rarrrrr. I find csas really __________. (fill up with super NICE words like horrible, redundant, useless etc.)
& I'm sad that I can actually fail 4 damn subjects out of my 6 modules. I thought I'd fail 2 or 3. turned out that the fourth one would be CSAS. this is ultramega siannnnnnz & disappointing.
but the worst of all was on thursday during APEL lessons, when Dr Khin told those who failed more than 3 modules for termtest to stay behind. & well, I was one of those.
and the thing that made me feel even more lousy is that the super playful guys like stephen, chris & zihao weren't even on the list. yeaaaa, they didn't fail as much as I did. great job to the guys! continue to jiayou ah! (:
& I heard from cheryl that zihao actually passed MGEN. yes, I'm shocked. hahhahah, cos those super playful boys actually managed to do well suddenly.
I really don't know what's wrong with me lah. Just feel ultramega angry & lousy after Dr Khin spoke to the few of us on thursday. & I hope she'll keep her word.
but somehow, I forgot about everything after huili came & I complained a little. yea, but only for that day only. hahahaha.

ughhh, I know I'm not spending enough time with my family. my dad always wants time out with the family, but I'm always not free to go out with them. ALWAYS :(
even just doing simple things like getting a new pair of specs of himself, he wants me to be there as well. when i told him yesterday that I might not be free this holiday, he said, "nevermind la, then wait for your next holiday. (: "
I grabbed my mp3, handphone, pillow & blanket and chionged out of my room yesterday after I saw that HUGE ROACHIE. trillions of yuckiness please. :\

I stuck that note to my door and I slept on the sofa in the living room.
hahahah, but before that, I was thinking if I should wake my dad up to help me catch the roach or should I just go into my mum's room and just sleep inside.
well, in the end, I decided to be kind and not to wake anyone up. so i settled for the living room. hahahhahah.
anyways, this afternoon, my mum & I shifted all the furnitures in my room & sprayed tonnes of insecticide into the gaps between the floor/walls and the furnitures, but nothing came out. so I think the roach has either gone out thu the window, or it has slipped thru the gap under the door. yes, the door was closed all the way from the point of me spotting it. urgh.
if it's the latter, the roach is still lying somewhere within this house! OHMYGOSHHHHHHH! :(

went swensons for lunch with the girls after term test last thursday. and it was nice to have a mini gathering with the girls in A7B3 cos it's really been such a long time since EVERYONE of us was able to sit down together to have a meal and to crap.
can't remember what I ate but the my cravings for cookies in icecream was being satisfied on that day. (: thanks to ahli cos she had coupons. hahhahahah.
went for visitation with yuling on friday and i rushed down to char's house to do Incredibles' banner for CampX.

cabbed down to town to meet up with the girls who went K-Boxing before dinner. and we had dinner at 日本村 :DD nice nice ahhhhhh. hahahha.

cos up next would be children's church on sat morning and my cousin's wedding dinner on saturday night!
first saturday with yuling over at boston, the weather wasn't nice at all la. it started to pour heavily and I had to run all the way to the mrt station in order for me to not be caught in the rain. :(
did return busing as well cos I had to go home to prepare for my cousin's wedding dinner at 530pm that evening.

continued doing banners at char's house on sunday after cell & service. and i was really very worn out by then. hahahah, blame it on the mugging sessions for term tests. :\
finished everything and had dinner them before going back home to pack my bag and call up the kids to go for the sports heat on monday.
took quite long to pack my bag for camp. WHY?
well.... HMMMMMMM. apparently, I fell asleep while packing my bag! hahahaha. it's sooooo yizhen right? :\
in the end, 2 ziplock bags that's FULLY loaded with tops and bottoms. :)

YES, CAMP X IS HERE! :D and bytheway, the picture up there, it's our wonderful house flag! hahaha, and that's samuel(left) & joel(right)
AND, SAMUEL WON THE BEST MALE CAMPER AWARD! :D CONGRATS TO SAMUEL! anw, he's in charge of the chorus board all throughout the camp. :)
and he's ultramega tanned now, cos he's in PJ's canoeing team. or is it kayak? hahah. :\
heh. I love our flag mannnn. :D
CAMP DAY 1 fuzhi and I went down to rouxin's house to hitch a ride from her friend. hahaha, and well, alot of people in our cell was late. :\
reached MOE changi adventure camp which is in some super ulu place. and over at that place, you can hear planes flying past every 2minutes. urghhhhh.
the place didn't look as rundown as I have expected it to be. but it's not all wonderful also.
Firstly, our bunks, particularly MY bunk, is infested with creepy crawlies that feed on your blood.
they say that it's bedbug bites, and it's damn ITCHY right now laaaa. I hope that the cream that I bought from guardian just now is able to stop the itch. the itch is seriously unbearable. and it's thousand times worst as compared to a mozzie bite.
RARRRRR. STOP THE ITCH PLEASE. :(
and the bedbugs "kissed" me on my left cheek also la. cos I was lying on my left side when I slept. grrrrr.
anyways, we built a raft on the first day and conquered 5 obstacle course. first time building a raft and we managed to build a steady raft that lasted us all through the race. hahahah. except at the last metre when we were reaching the end. I built the raft only, never do rafting. HAHAHAHHAH, i scared of falling into the water la. i'm serious k. :\
the obstacle courses were fun. and it required ALOT of team effort.
hahaha, and I think malcolm did awesome for our team. he sacrificed alot for us. there's this particular station where you have to get the tyre out of this pole that is about 2m tall, and at the end of the 2m, the pole extends outwards diagonally. like pointing diagonally to the sky. hahahah, I don't you'll understand me la, but it's ok.
and mal was being carried by benny and he was hanging onto the pole for don't know how longgggggg loh. hahahah, then the rest of us were supporting his leg. the scene was super hilarious if you were there. really funny. hhahahaha. and after he managed to push the tyre out, everyone just siam-ed aside! :\
ahhaha, yea, I don't know why all of them siam la. then he just hund onto the pole w/o any support on his legs. even benny went away! HAHAHAHAH.

but it was more hilarious watching fuzhi's team getting the tyre out. their team was after our's and we sat there watching them, and laughing our hearts out. hahahahhah, can't really explain why it's so funny but, it's really super funny. LOL.
we had this spiderweb game also. yup, the usual spiderweb game where we had to carry people across w/o touching the web. then I was the last girl left behind with mal, in the web. so mal is the only one in the web supporting me. -_-
imagine the skinny guy trying to support my weight, alone. :\
and I'm being carried over into the upper most level lah. hahahha, I pity him la. and it's really scary(!!!) after I'm out of the web! if you were there, you'll know why. hahahahah.
then there's this game of throwing tennis balls into a pail that is about a metre away or so. but before that, you have to balance yourself across the pole. and everything is done BLINDFOLDED.
and again, mal did it over and over again, cos he's really good at throwing the balls in. hahhahhahahah. he caught the momentum after trying for a few times in a row. but once he stopped, then he lost the momentum. hahhahah.
overall, you can say that he is the hero for our team. HAHAHAH.
had session1 at riverwalk in the evening with pastor zhuang. and he talked about brokeness before praying for all the CGCs.
oh, had drama performance for every house as well. hahaha, i think the other houses did awesome. especially the narnia team. can't rememeber which house it was. hahahha.
went back to campsite after that and we were being split into our schools. and among the people in the camp, we have at least 8 TP people and 7 of them belong to BIO/BMS or vet tech. hahahah, but one of the 8 was from IT, which is our neighbour! ITAS. IT and Applied Science. whoooooo. ITAS revival. (:
CAMP DAY 2 went for session straight at riverwalk in the morning after our breakfast. and we spent the whole day out of the campsite. WHOOOPEEEEE~~
had a session with yilun before we had lunch.
played apprentice in the afternoon.
How to play apprentice? we're given $15 and within an hour, we're supposed to earn as much money as possible.
How? you'll have to think about that! hahahhhah.
For the incredibles, we split ourselves into 2 groups, one with malcolm and another with rouxin. mal's team is doing 'busking'. hahhah, cos he can sing ma. then he got guitar also.
then rouxin's team went around playing games & singing, doing pushups and chicken dance to earn some $$$. hahahah.
my group is with rouxin, and we made a wrong move by buying a pack of sweets that cost $3! that $3 we spent was really wasted cos with that $3, we could've won for apprentice! :(
we lost to the winning team by $2! we wasted $3! ahhhhh! but well, it's ok right? (: at least we had fun. winning's not everything yea?
as long as we know, it's alright. hahahahh.

we fought the hardest, we cheered the best we could, and we took care of one another, but most importantly, we had a great bonding session during the camp! pre-camp, during camp and also post-camp.

CAMP DAY 3 we had our last session back in JW church and it was great. and cindy was the one preaching for the last session! hahhahha, she told us before during cell that it was the first time that she's gonna speak infront of sucha large crowd.
but well, she did great & cindy we love you for all that you've done & sacrificed for us to make this camp an awesome camp. :)
OF COS, all the different leaders were awesome as well! I DIDN'T FORGET YOU GUYS!!! hahaahaha!
anyways, we finally managed to break the tie we always had with the help of apprentice and we got first! but it wasn't for long because the arm wrestling round is the crucial round whereby our scores can really change drastically. we went from first to third after the arm wrestling round.
but hey! it's ok! cos we know that our players have wrestled well and our players were fair & just. and that's enough for us. :)
yes, Incredibles have already won the war. :)
