LOST IN UBIN, 7TH JUNE 2009
yes I know it's terribly overdue but I keep forgetting to post the draft entry that's been lying there for almost a month.

well, since it's long overdue, I've decided to just cut short my entry.

major things that happened for the event:

1. joel & me crashed our bike & I got hurt!
rarrr, the wound has healed but it looks like I've got a permanent bruise on my right knee. :(
can you please please pleaseeeeeee heal properly? I want my leg to be scar-less.
hmmm, maybe it's time for some help from tissue engineering for wound healing?
oh! no, wait! i think it's too late. cos my wound has alrdy healed. :\
joel! don't feel bad ok! I'm not blaming you! really! (haha, like as if he knows what I just said)

2. PB's team won the whole race! :D:D
hahaha, that guy, forever out to win everything that we play. lol.
won some cash/vouchers, I can't rmbr. haha, I think it's cash la. =p
and his team consists of all the bike enthusiasts! pro you know!
haha, I think if I'm in the team, I'll die halfway through. hahaha.

3. I broke my Baby-G during the fall. TT_TT
It's time for a new baby G watch for me!!
but I don't have moneyyyyyy! :(



haha, that's the one & only FULL group shot we have.
& it's sooooo dark. :\
it's okay, think can photoshop it right? haha.

anyway, all the big guys in the cell is in my team.
but 2 of them don't know how to cycle! *faints*
hahaha, okay, joel tried, & he succeeded lah.
so then, poor guolei had to bike hw throughout the game. :\

anyway, I failed to get a tan in ubin! :(
it even rained halfway through the game.
my plan of getting burnt in ubin failed.
just fyi, I got the first sunburn in my life from ubin during P6 camp.
so pulau ubin makes me think that it's easy to get a tan over there. LOL.

that's all i'm gonna say.
not gonna talk about details.
one thing is that, we (or at least myself) definitely had a fun time over there
with the team & the rest of the cell.
dinner was yummy too! even though everything was super spicy. :\
downed countless cups of drink that night. haha.

& weirdly, this ubin cycling trip wasn't as tiring as my usual ECP cycling.
hahahahaha, I think I'm crazy right?

one last thing that I feel like shouting out:
I love my friends! :D :D heh heh.

cos it's all fullllllllll. *whines like a kid*
TSK, for once, I'm gonna catch a movie with them.
but the theatre had to be full. grrrrr :(

(don't understand what's up with those super terrible ratings like half a star when some people who've watched are even willing to watch it twice)

no transformers, so we chilled out at starbucks.
& yay to cindy cos it's been a long time since we have her around for fellowship. ;D
even though I don't tell you everything all the time, I miss you also ok!
haha, but actually, I think I don't talk everyone about everything right. :\

sometimes I will think to myself and ask
when will the day come where I will collapse & go mad under all the stress of keeping everything & not letting it out.
but then again, maybe God has taken all the crap away.
so after some time, I'll somehow "recover". hahaha. who knows uh.

anyway, the guys were surfing the net on their phones while at starbucks.
& I saw the video of the girl who got shot in Iran.
gosh, I couldn't bear to continue watching once blood started streaming from the eyes, nose, ears, etc.
makes you wonder how life ends just like that, without you knowing.
like MJ, where you can be busy preparing for comeback, but the next moment you know it, you're struggling to survive.
life is that fragile. Sighs.

totally drenched after that.

I know you can't believe that I ran for the race (haha, I didn't even wear proper running gears at all)
but not like I have a choice lehhhhhhh. :(

but I'm still awake! goshhhh, holidays kindda screwed up my body clock. :\

talking about computers,
I NEED A NEW COMPUTER/MONITOR! (whichever that's having problems)

the screen goes black and gets turned off after less than 15minutes of using the computer everyday.
so I have to restart it again. :(
I don't know if it's purely a monitor problem or not because my music player stopped playing music also when it blacked out.
so might be the CPU's problem also. argh! it'd better not crash on me mann.
if not I'm gonna cry, real badly.

got back MGEN & LAST paper.
passed both, with marks above 30.

I don't know what to expect for that.

this would be the start of the nightmare mannnnn.

I bet alot of students, like my brother, are secretly hoping that they will extend the June holidays so that all the students who're only returning on the last few days before school begins will be virus-free before they start school.

they really shld quarantine everyone entering the country from all the areas with H1N1.
or if not, these people should just wear a mask for one week to wherever they go. haha.

YES EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER FOR ME
But I'm not all that happy. It feels like this is the worst termtest that I've ever been through.

Day 3 - CSAS & Tissue Engineering

CSAS was alright.
TE was total crap.

4hours break after CSAS paper to study for TE but I just simply cldn't get anything into my head. My brain feels horribly saturated that I can't sit still & read & study or do anything related.

Did I work my brain to overdrive? I don't usually feel that way so I have no idea what happened today.

The 4hours break was just torturous. I desperately want & need to study but yet I can't. I even thought of asking PaulCheung if I can skip the paper to take it tmr. (which is not likely to be possible)

Sitting at the benches on level one with the rest of them made me more stressed than I already am. 4 smart & hardworking ones infront of me and on my left & right. plus the wall behind me that feels like they're gonna close in on me any moment. :(

so stressed that I feel the need to go running on the tracks & let out a long scream. I'm alrdy on the brink of breaking down, but I think all of them wld get a shock if I ever do that infront of them.

SIGHHHHHHHHS, WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU? :(

In the end, I went for the test totally unprepared. I just hope that I won't get a heart attack when I get my paper back.

I need my sleeeeep soon. totally burnt my brain these few days.

Day 2 - MGEN & LAST

MGen wasn't too bad.
but not too good either. (okay, maybe I expected too much or think too much)

first page of LAST paper was cool.
I did it in less than 5mins.
well, actually, the whole paper wasn't supposed to be that bad.
it's just me that didn't prepare enough. :(

Dearest Dr Chang,
if only you'd be kind enough to be lenient in the markings

1. & gimme my 5 marks for my calculation (my only confident question)
2. (at least) 7 out of 10 marks for chemiluminescent & fluorescent labelling
3. understand what I'm saying for that yeast cell question (& gimme some marks)
4. be super kind to gimme some marks for that 15m question
5. oh! & also my 1mark for the pLys question
6. in short, be superduper ultramega kind so that I can at least pass my paper

I promise to put my 200% for all the remaining test/quizzes for RTechB
& I'd put you on the top of my "list of favourite lecturers" if I pass this.
